Planning Application Submitted for Wilmslow's First Build-to-Rent Development

AshtonHale has submitted a planning application to Cheshire East Council on behalf of Royal London Asset Management for the redevelopment of Royal London House in Wilmslow. The £100m scheme on Alderley Road would deliver 286 apartments across two six-storey buildings, making it Wilmslow's first build-to-rent development. The former 150,000 sq ft office, vacant since Royal London relocated to Alderley Park in 2020, would be demolished to make way for the homes, which include a 20% affordable housing provision and amenities such as a gym, co-working space, and café.
