125 New Homes Approved at Cumber Lane, Wilmslow

AshtonHale has secured planning approval for Bellway Homes’ proposed development on safeguarded land off Cumber Lane in Wilmslow. Cheshire East Council’s Strategic Planning Board resolved to approve the scheme.

The scheme will deliver 125 new homes, including 38 affordable properties, representing 30% of the total. It also includes landscaping, public open space, children’s play provision, new access, pedestrian and cycle links, and supporting infrastructure. The site is designated as Safeguarded Land, identified to meet longer-term development needs beyond the current plan period.

The agreed housing mix comprises eight one-bedroom homes, all affordable, 24 two-bedroom homes, 59 three-bedroom homes, 24 four-bedroom homes and 10 five-bedroom homes.
