Planning Approval Secured for 400 Homes at Land South of Hyde
We've worked on Land South of Hyde for almost 10 years and over that period, we've seen the site evolve from having no development value, progress through the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework process, the transition to Places for Everyone, and ultimately securing its release from the Green Belt with a favourable allocation.
On 24 June, that journey reached another major milestone as our hybrid application was approved by Tameside Planning Committee. Following around two hours of debate, members voted in favour of proposals for the conversion of the Grade II* listed Apethorn Farmhouse into four bespoke dwellings, alongside outline permission for up to 440 new homes across the wider site.
