Permission Granted for New Multi-Storey Car Park in Stalybridge

We’re pleased to share that planning approval has been granted for a new multi-storey car park in Stalybridge, representing an important step forward in the town’s ongoing regeneration. As part of the council’s wider investment programme, the development will help maintain essential town centre parking while the Stalybridge West scheme progresses, supporting both economic growth and future housing delivery.

The new facility will improve access for visitors and support local businesses by increasing parking capacity in the town centre. It will also help unlock new homes on brownfield land, provide modern and accessible parking, and promote more sustainable travel through EV charging, cycle parking and improved pedestrian routes.
